Mr. Sooby was born in Levittown and raised in Bucks County, He is a member of the Middletown Township Planning Commission, a member of several union locals, and is an Amtrak pipefitter and mechanical supervisor.

Among his policy concerns are reforming the financing of public education by ending reliance on the property tax; quality jobs at fair wages, encouraged by assistance to small businesses, investment in public infrastructure and development of green technology industries; health care access and security, including affordable long-term care for seniors; and crime fighting through prevention, more police, and low-interest loans for new vehicles and technology.
