Melissa Bond has a busy law practice in Doylestown. She is an active volunteer in many orgainizations, including the Big Sisters and Big Brothers (board member), Central Bucks YMCA (co-chair of program committee), Planned Parenthood, Council on Drugs and Alcohol Abuse, NAACP, Legal Aid Society, and the Bucks County Assistance Board. She has been recognized by the county Bar Association for her substantial contribution of pro bono legal services to abused women and children.

In the legislature her priorities would include: stopping over-development of the county, halting escalating taxes, improving education without vouchers, instilling a sense of self-worth in all our youth, and providing productive jobs to more equally share the tax burden.
